65 to 70 Caddy
The New 65-70 Cadillac system offers a whole new way to float your boat! Our system allows for easy adjustability at a push of a button. A common problem with these cars is load capacity, adding friends, luggage, or anything else that may fit into the massive trunk lowers the ride height of the car drastically.
Our solution is pretty simple.... load the car... start the car.... drive the car ! sounds too simple, well that’s the idea .
Up front The ShockWave® mounts just like a conventional coilover and replaces both the coil spring and the shock absorber. The benefits over a traditional airspring are many:
The installer doesn’t have to be concerned with synchronizing the travel of the shock absorber with the travel of the airspring… that relationship is built into the ShockWave® unit.
Mounting of the ShockWave® is typically a bolt-in affair with little or no modification or fabrication needed.
By eliminating an outboard mounted shock tire clearance at full steering lock is greatly improved and turning radius is restored.
With the ShockWave® the airspring endplates are always in perfect vertical alignment with each other.
The shock position of the ShockWave® is typically in a superior position to better control the movement of the suspension.
In the rear our CoolRide® sytsem is a simple bolt-on solution with the included airsprings, shock absorbers, and all of the necessary mounting bracketry and hardware.
THE AIR SUPPLY AND CONTROL SYSTEM
- Viair high pressure compressor with built in thermal cut-out
- Braided stainless steel comp hose with built in check valve
- 4 way Accuair valve system with 5 year warranty (Made in USA)
- 6 meter color coded wiring harness for valves
- Dual gauge control panel with chrome toggle switches fully assembled
- Compressor wiring (6 meters of 6mm cable) plus pre wired relay & circuit breaker
- Gauge panel wiring with terminals
- 175psi compressor on / off pressure switch
- Hoosier DOT approved air tank (5 gallon capacity)
- 20m of 3/8th DOT airline inc 20m gauge line
- All brass DOT approved straight and angled swivel "push to connect" fittings (not cheaper plastic fittings)
- All bolts, nyloc nuts & washers required to install
- Teflon sealer
